December rushes off in Oakland county

This weekend there are a host of activities going on.    Here are just a few.

Handmade Detroit

Has a craft fair going on the 3rd & 4th at the Masonic Temple in Detroit.

The 6th Annual Detroit Urban Craft Fair is an indie craft fair hosted by Handmade Detroit featuring over 80 local and national handmakers. Check out the entire 2011 DUCF vendor list.

The fair serves as an alternative to typical holiday big box store shopping, showcasing local and national independent artists. We’re celebrating our sweet sixth anniversary the traditional way — with a candy theme and tons of makers!  Stop by and show them some love.

Check out the annual tree lighting ceremony downtown Auburn Hills TONIGHT.  After, there will be visits with Santa, carriage rides, a bonfire with s’mores, ornament crafts to decorate the tree, holiday music and more. Click here for more information.
